The out break of Covid-19 Corona Virus has negatively impacted Ugandans leading to total lock down and compulsory self quarantine as per the directive from His excellency the president of Uganda. The effect of the lock down is leaving single mothers, widows, elderly and needy children malnourished, starving, poverty, loss of jobs and high standard of living.

Africa Renewal ministries is one of the christian organisations that has responded to Covid-19  to show the love of  Jesus Christ  to people in that community for to know that Jesus loves them and still cares about them through the Mercy Project  by donating 490 kgs of maize flour and 225kgs of beans to be distributed to 90 needy families each receiving 5kgs of maize flour and 2.5 kgs of beans irrespective of religion.

Leaders at Christ Our Vision are faithful stewards, they did a great work of identifying and reaching out the most vulnerable families and spent the whole day distributing food to the needy.

The Love of Jesus Christ was manifested in the community, for it was a miracle to people to be given free food because it was not expected and it came at the right time of need.
