A Fresh Start for Learning at Father’s Children

Nursery and Primary School

Christ Our Vision Childcare is delighted to announce the successful completion of a major renovation and repainting project at Father’s Children Nursery and Primary School.

After years of faded walls, leaking roofs, dusty surroundings, and aging facilities, learners, teachers, parents, and the wider community are celebrating this remarkable milestone.

Project Highlights

Complete Repainting

The entire school received a fresh new look with durable, child-friendly paint. Areas repainted included:

• All ten classrooms
• The computer laboratory
• Dormitories & Children Homes
• Administration block
• Children’s homes
• The perimeter fence

Structural Repairs

To improve safety and comfort, the project included:

• Repairing cracked walls
• Restoring damaged floors
• Replacing broken windows
• Sealing roof leaks to provide dry, secure classrooms

New Furniture

Learning and working spaces were enhanced through:

• Replacing old and worn-out pupil desks
• Repairing damaged classroom furniture
• Purchasing new office furniture for the administration block

Sanitation Improvements

To promote better health and hygiene, the project included:

• Replacing broken toilet seats and water taps within the school’s water-borne flushing toilet system
• Installing new handwashing facilities at every classroom block

Compound Improvements

• Repairing and repainting the perimeter fence
• Paving the compound to eliminate dust and create a cleaner, safer environment for children

A Positive Impact on Learners and Teachers

The improvements have already made a significant difference across the school community.

Teachers report improved attendance, increased classroom participation, and a renewed sense of pride among learners. A clean, colorful, and well-maintained school sends a powerful message that every child is valued, loved, and deserves access to a quality learning environment.

Looking Ahead: Phase Two

The renovation marks the successful completion of Phase One of our long-term school development plan.

By December 2026, we hope to begin Phase Two, which includes:

• Constructing the first-floor concrete slab of our permanent multi-storey classroom block to provide more spacious and learner-friendly classrooms.
• Establishing a fully equipped school library to strengthen literacy, encourage a culture of reading, and improve educational outcomes.

At present, we do not have the financial resources required to undertake these important projects. We continue to trust in God’s provision and pray that He will touch the hearts of individuals, churches, organizations, foundations, and friends who share our vision of transforming children’s lives through education.
