MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
Christmas is the most vital festival among Christians. It is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus, who is the supreme Lord of the Christians. It marks the beginning of the days of hope for those oppressed before Jesus’ birth. Christmas celebrates the spirit of joy, peace, love and happiness
Christmas is a Christian festival that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe was the son of God. For most people, it takes place every year on 25 December – the day that the Roman Catholic Church chose to mark the birthday of Jesus. But, in fact, no one actually is certain of the exact date Jesus was born!
Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God. The name ‘Christmas‘ comes from the Mass of Jesus Christ so we get the name Christ-Mass, shortened to Christmas. Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are Christians or not. It is also a cultural festival of Jesus to Mary.
Jesus was a good shepherd and his life was one of the hardships and sacrifices, and Christmas aims to acknowledge that fact
Christmas is celebrated on December 25 every year and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon.
Popular customs include decorating Christmas trees, exchanging gifts, sharing meals with family and friends, attending church and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.
We would like to thank our sponsorship partners (TFCM) who shared the love of Jesus Christ by sending Christmas gifts in form of food to and brand new clothes so that their sponsored children and their families may enjoy the birth of Christmas celebrations!
Would you wish to bless your sponsored child with a gift or sponsor education of a vulnerable child in Africa? Contacts us and God will bless you abundantly.
